Job summary

General Parts Group in Topeka, KS is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities and restaurants from your home region. You will be dispatched with a company vehicle from home and participate in after-hours rotations to ensure uptime.

We offer a $6,000 sign-on bonus, pay from $20 to $45 per hour, PTO, 401(k) match, profit sharing, medical and dental plans, ongoing training, and CFESA certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience, education, or military training preferred.
• EPA certification required for refrigeration techs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid drivers license and safe driving record.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.
