Custom Truck One Source in Hooksett, NH is hiring a Service Technician / Mechanic to perform PM and repair of truck-mounted hydraulic equipment. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium to heavy duty trucks and equipment, with emphasis on hydraulics and electrical systems.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime as needed. Must have a valid driver's license and your own tools; benefits include 401(k) match, ESPP, comprehensive health care, paid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
• Experience with diesel and heavy equipment preferred.
• Own tools and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged parts on vocational trucks and equipment.
• Provide repair and maintenance to medium/heavy trucks with hydraulics/electrical emphasis.
• Maintain records of parts, services and labor for cost tracking.
• Submit work orders for supervisor approval to control costs and pricing.
• Follow safety practices and participate in safety meetings.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and perform other duties as required.
• Ensure quality standards and proper pricing reflection.
• Comply with company policies and best practices.

Hiring Service Technician / Mechanic to perform PM & Repair of truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes; construction, mining, farm equipment.

• CTOS equipment includes Utility Trucks & Equipment, Boom, Bucket, Digger Derricks.
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime as needed.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and mechanics tools.

Duties:

• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged / worn parts on a variety of vocational / utility trucks & equipment.
• Provide repair and maintenance to medium / heavy duty trucks, and background in hydraulics and electrical.
• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company.
• Submit all work/repair orders as required to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of vehicle repairs accurately reflected.
• Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
• Other duties as required.

Basic Skills:

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Experience with diesel, medium or heavy truck, or related equipment. (construction, farm, military)

Preferred Skills:

• Vocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic or related training a plus
• 3 plus years maintenance and repair of Utility Trucks and Equipment.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must have your own tools.
