Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships in Hanover, PA, seeks a motivated Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles at our Hyundai of Hanover location. You’ll work with a qualified team, stay current with Hyundai systems, and contribute to safe, quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret repair instructions and technical information.
• Team-oriented mindset with a solid work ethic.
• Previous automotive service technician experience preferred.
• ASE certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Receive repair orders and perform work as outlined in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed components.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs and report findings to the service advisor.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Road-test vehicles as needed to verify repairs.
• Stay up to date on Hyundai systems, tools, and factory technical bulletins.
• Attend manufacturer training and continue developing technical skills.
• Assist in supervising and supporting apprentice technicians as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and care of customer vehicles.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
