Job summary

Johnson Hyundai of Apex is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Service Technician to join the growing Service team in Apex, NC. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer and dealership vehicles to provide high-quality service.

• Automotive maintenance/repair experience relevant to the role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability for the position.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and accurate repairs.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to document work performed and communicate findings clearly.
• Basic computer and electronic diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work per repair orders and manufacturer procedures.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Communicate diagnostic findings and parts requirements to Service Advisors.
• Collaborate with Parts Department to obtain required parts.
• Document inspections, repairs, and service recommendations accurately.
• Follow warranty procedures and road-test as needed.
• Utilize diagnostic information and training to complete tasks.
