What You’ll Do
- As a Service Technician, you’ll perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Receive repair orders and perform work in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose vehicle issues and complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary components
- Inspect vehicles for additional safety or maintenance needs
- Communicate findings and repair timelines with service advisors
- Document all work performed clearly and accurately
- Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality
- Supervise and support apprentice technicians as assigned
- Stay up to date with factory training and technical bulletins
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials
- Treat all customer vehicles with care and professionalism
What You Bring To The Table
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive technician experience (dealership experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and repair methods
- PA State Inspection and Emissions License required
ASE Certification Preferred
- Diesel experience is a plus (not required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Solid work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
