Myers Auto Group in Brooksville, FL is seeking a Certified CDJR Service Technician to join our family-owned dealership. You will identify mechanical problems, test parts and systems, and perform both basic and advanced maintenance on vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 2 Chrysler experience or equivalent.
• Able to diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, AC, etc.
• Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including Saturdays.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs and explain repairs to service advisors.

Responsibilities

• Identify mechanical problems, test parts and systems, and perform maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems to specification.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors in plain language.
• Disassemble and reassemble parts as needed and use diagnostic equipment.

Brooksville, a leading family-owned dealership, is looking to add Certified CDJR Service Technicians to their staff! This position is responsible for identifying mechanical problems, testing parts and systems and performing both basic and advanced maintenance of vehicles.

QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum level 2 Chrysler experience or equivalent.
• Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including Saturdays.
• Able to diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification.
• Ability to access all areas of vehicles to correctly diagnose problems and perform all repairs.
• Knowledge of engine management including, but not limited to, emission, fuel, and ignition systems.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment. etc.).
• Ability to accurately identify mechanical problems using both manual and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Able to explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors. Correctly disassemble and reassemble parts.
• Knowledge of integrated electronic systems, such as sensors.
• Capable of utilizing power tools including, but not limited to, pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding torches, and jacks and hoists. Also, able to use common hand tools such as sockets and ratchets, wrenches, and pliers.
• Acceptable verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
