Job summary

CLT Recruiters seeks a Service Technician for a luxury residential firm in New York, NY. The role is hands-on across carpentry, drywall, paint, fixtures, plumbing and electrical, including HVAC diagnosis and repair, with the technician serving as the on-site client contact on service calls.

The candidate will work in occupied high-end homes, handle warranty work and small projects, and report to the Service Supervisor. Four+ years in multi-trade work, EPA 608/OSHA-10 are a plus.

Qualifications

• Four or more years as a multi-trade tradesperson doing the work directly.
• HVAC and mechanical capability beyond coordination.
• Comfort working in occupied high-end homes requiring discretion.
• EPA 608 or OSHA-10 certification is a plus.
• High-end residential service/warranty background is a plus.

Service Technician - General Trades & HVAC, Luxury Residential, New York, NY

Our client is a Manhattan luxury residential construction firm with an established service division working in occupied high-end homes.

The firm is hiring a Service Technician who does the work himself across multiple trades. This is a hands‑on role, not a coordination role, and the technician is the on‑site point person on a service call.

Key Responsibilities

• Warranty work, service calls, punch list items and small projects.
• Hands‑on repair across carpentry, drywall, paint, fixtures, plumbing and electrical.
• HVAC and mechanical diagnosis and repair.
• Acting as the client-facing point person on site.
• Reporting to the Service Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Four or more years as a multi-trade tradesperson doing the work directly.
• Genuine HVAC and mechanical capability, not coordination alone.
• Comfortable working in occupied high-end homes, where discretion and presence matter.
• EPA 608, OSHA-10, or plumbing or electrical certification is a plus.
• A high-end residential service or warranty background is a plus.

Compensation

• $28.00 to $38.00 per hour, overtime eligible.
• Immediate start available.
