  • We are hiring immediately for a full-time SERVICE TECHNICIAN position.
  • Location: Coffee Distributing Corporation - 125 New Field Avenue, Edison, NJ 08837. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior technical knowledge and customer service experience are required.
  • Pay Range: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Repairs, maintains, and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
  • Calls on existing customers to determine service adequacy; resolves service complaints.
  • Inspects machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantles machines to access problem areas.
  • Inspects parts for wear or misalignment; replaces worn or defective parts; repairs broken parts; realigns and tests machine operation.
  • Reviews inventory, orders parts, ships and receives machines, maintains equipment inventory.
  • Prepares machines for installation; assists in installations and removals.
  • Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small tools for repairs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
