Job summary

FSS Technologies seeks a skilled technician to install, maintain, and repair surveillance, access, audio/video, intercom, fire alarms, intrusion, and residential security systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

You will verify system performance, ensure compliance with fire codes and safety regulations, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer training on proper use and maintenance. This role offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced, value-driven company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role supporting fire systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Job description

As a technician, you will support our team in safeguarding our clients' assets. A technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing surveillance, access, audio and video, intercom systems, fire alarms, intrusion, and residential security in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. They ensure systems function correctly and comply with fire codes and safety regulations. Technicians will inspect and test existing systems and make necessary repairs or adjustments. Technicians must thoroughly understand electrical systems, components, and local codes and regulations. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and identify and repair faulty components. Technicians also provide technical support and instruction to customers on properly using and maintaining systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK HOURS BENEFITS

• Core work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and travel to various customer sites is required.
