This position is responsible for the proper and timely service, repair, programming, and routine maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure quality products, client satisfaction, and profit objectives. The role reports to the Fire Alarm Service Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Service fire alarm systems, including device replacement, wiring repairs, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Program fire alarm systems according to specifications and design, complying with NFPA 72 code requirements.
• Perform service on alarm systems in a timely, professional, and quality manner.
• Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours services.
• Maintain professionalism with customers to foster good relations.
• Engage in education and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of installation methods, materials, fire and building codes, and design standards.
• Familiarity with panel programming software (not brand specific).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
