Job summary

Integra Healthcare Equipment in Elmhurst, IL seeks an energetic delivery driver to operate a 16 ft box truck, manage routes, and deliver and assemble medical equipment in patient homes and facilities. You will contact patients to schedule deliveries and ensure timely service while maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities include training new staff as needed, completing documentation daily, and adhering to all company policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Must be insurable and meet our insurance carrier requirements.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work afternoons, rotating weekends, and on-call rotation.
• Steel Toe shoes are a requirement for this position.

• Contact patients by telephone to schedule deliveries and routes to meet patient needs in a timely fashion.
• Manage assigned routes timely to meet specific delivery time frames.
• Assemble medical equipment properly and educate caregivers/patients on safe equipment use.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted daily.
• Install, pickup, and service basic DME equipment.
• Maintain professional appearance; adhere to dress code (uniform, steel-toed shoes, grooming).
• Assist with training new employees when required.
• Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by management.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
