Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of El Cajon in the San Diego area is seeking Service Technicians to join the state-of-the-art dealership and deliver world-class service.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of dealer-level or large facility experience, a high school diploma or GED, post-secondary automotive training, and ASE certification. A valid California driver license and strong customer-service skills are required to deliver world-class results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary automotive training preferred.
• At least 1 year of dealer-level or large facility experience.
• ASE certification preferred or equivalent specialized certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repair work following standards and procedures.
• Complete system diagnostics and automotive troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Communicate with service advisors on status and ETA.
• Maintain safety policies and follow dealership practices.
• Continuously learn new technical information through training.
• Represent the company values in interactions with customers and colleagues.
