Mercedes-Benz of El Cajon in the San Diego area is seeking Service Technicians to join the state-of-the-art dealership and deliver world-class service.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of dealer-level or large facility experience, a high school diploma or GED, post-secondary automotive training, and ASE certification. A valid California driver license and strong customer-service skills are required to deliver world-class results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repair work following standards and procedures.

Overview

Mercedes-Benz of El Cajon is looking to add Service Technicians to their New State of the Art Dealership in the San Diego Area! If you have experience working for a different brand and want to make a change? We offer "fast Track" training to learn about Mercedes-Benz.

The Service Technician services and repairs vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures. In addition, he or she may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer. We deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, some post‑secondary automotive training, at least one year of dealer‑level or large facility experience, and certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a strong technical performance record, and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast‑paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately perform quality repair work in accordance with dealership’s and factory standards.
• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop area.
• Road‑test vehicle to ensure quality repair work was completed.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay informed with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co‑workers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Mercedes-Benz Service Technician experience preferred – Great Opportunity to gain a career working with Mercedes Benz.
