Job summary

Wilde Subaru in Wisconsin is seeking an automotive service technician with 3–5 years of experience to diagnose vehicle concerns, perform repairs, and test drive to verify work. You will maintain safety and documentation, and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of automotive repair experience across engine, brake, steering, suspension, and preventive maintenance systems.
  • Manufacturer-trained with the ability to diagnose and complete assigned repairs.
  • Minimum of one ASE certification; ASE Master Technician certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle concerns and complete repairs according to repair orders, manufacturer procedures, and dealership standards.
  • Test drive to confirm repairs are complete and accurate.
  • Document diagnostic findings, test results, completed repairs, and technician time on every repair order.
  • Maintain hand tools and return dealership-owned tools after use; keep the bay clean and organized.
  • Protect customer vehicles during repair and return them in the received condition.
  • Complete required technical training and maintain applicable manufacturer certifications.
  • Communicate repair or safety concerns promptly and follow schedules and dealership procedures.
