Job summary

CDJR of Troy, part of Lithia & Driveway, is expanding its service department in Michigan and adding 10 new hoists to meet rising demand. We are seeking skilled automotive technicians who want to grow with a top-volume dealership and access to industry-leading training and certifications.

You'll diagnose and repair vehicles, participate in OEM and ASE training, and work in a collaborative team focused on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ASE Master Technician certification preferred.
• Manufacturer certified in listed areas.
• Minimum of 1 ASE certifications.
• 1+ years Lube/maintenance or engine repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles to dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, drivability, electrical, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC.
• Document findings and communicate results to customers and Advisors.

The Service Technician will report to the Service Manager and is an onsite position.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on engines, drivability, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct road tests and quality checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
• Document repair findings, test results, and completed work accurately.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
• Participate in OEM and ASE training to stay current with evolving vehicle technology.
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Bring

• 1 or more years Lube and Maintenance Services
• 1 or more years Engine Repair
• 1 or more years Suspension/Steering Repair
• 1 or more years Brake Repair
• 1 or more years Heating and A/C Repair (Optional)
• Certification/Training: Manufacturer certified in all areas listed above.
• Minimum of 1 ASE certifications (Is an ASE Master Technician)
• 1 or more years Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 100%
• Customer Pay Repairs
• Automotive Technical Knowledge - Three+ years of experience
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
