Job summary

Suburban Buick GMC of Troy is hiring automotive technicians for a fast-paced service department. You will diagnose and repair brake, suspension, steering, engine, and electrical systems, using scan tools and OEM service information systems.

A valid driver’s license and ASE certifications are required, with 2–5 years of dealership or private shop experience. We offer competitive, performance-based pay, PTO, health plans, 401(k) with match, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires ASE certifications up-to-date and dealer/private shop experience.
• Able to diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, steering, engine, and electrical issues.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs per repair order with efficiency and adherence to standards.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Document all work, tests, and time per procedures.
• Maintain inventory of common tools and ensure safety compliance.
