Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing daily stall cleaning.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean and in original condition.
• Complete all required training and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Review technical bulletins and participate in technical training.
• Communicate effectively with dealership personnel and report safety or integrity concerns.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs independently in areas like engine, suspension, brakes, electrical, heating and A/C, and engine drivability diagnosis.
• Minimum of 3 ASE certifications, preferably ASE Master Technician.
• 3-5 years of automotive technical experience.
