Job summary

GPC is hiring a Service Technician to install, service, and repair beverage equipment. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and requires a motivated individual with customer service focus and technical experience in equipment installation and repair.

The candidate should have a valid driver's license, be on-call every 6th weekend, and possess a high school diploma or GED; an Associate Degree in refrigeration and EPA 608 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in refrigeration preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• On-call availability every 6th weekend.
• Experience with sealed-system refrigeration is preferred.
• Electrical and plumbing experience is preferred; adept with Outlook and mobile tech.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair beverage equipment including coolers and vending machines.
• Complete daily work orders and generate invoices with accuracy.
• Represent GPC professionally, communicating clearly with customers to meet expectations.
• Collaborate with management and coworkers to identify and solve problems.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

We have an opportunity for you to join the team as aService Technician! The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of GPC beverage equipment. This position offers a Monday – Friday schedule, working from 8am until 4:00pm. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service and have experience in equipment installation and repair.

“A day in the life of a Service Technician (Beverage Equipment) looks like:”

• Perform installations, service work, and repairs on all beverage equipment including coolers, vending machines, fountain equipment and hot beverage equipment.
• Completing the daily work orders with accuracy and creating invoices.
• Be the face of GPC while providing excellent communication with customers to ensure expectations are clearly understood and met with best in class service.
• Communicates with management and coworkers to identify and resolve problems.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

What does it take to be a Service Technician?

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to available to be on call every 6th weekend.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification is preferred but not required.
• Associate Degree in refrigeration or have equivalent knowledge and experience required.
• Electrical and plumbing experience preferred.
• Experience with sealed system refrigeration is preferred.
• Adept at using a smart phone, Outlook, and general computer software.
