Ferrellgas offers a Service Technician Apprentice program in Grayling, MI, with hands-on training alongside experienced technicians. You will learn installations, troubleshooting, and service calls, progressing toward a full Service Technician role. The company covers licenses and endorsements costs.

You’ll join a team focused on local routes, customer service, and safety, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities through the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to obtain Commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with hazmat and tanker endorsement if not currently obtained.
• Good driving record.
• Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding the English language.
• CDL Class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Responsabilités

• Under direct supervision, assist in installations, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
• Develops knowledge and trains on how to load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
• Assists in inspecting vehicles and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Under direct supervision, assists in preparing and maintaining records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Under direct supervision, during daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquires.
• Will be required to train with team members who are working on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed.
• Once qualified, may be required to drive a Bobtail truck base on business needs and/or "On Call" rotation
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Under direct supervision, may work on propane appliances when needed.
