Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable Service Technician in Savannah to install, maintain, and repair propane systems for homes and businesses. You’ll be the trusted face handling safety testing, emergency response, and timely solutions while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves loading and delivering propane, working on local routes, and collaborating with teams to keep customers warm and safe. A strong safety record and driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane systems and equipment for residential and commercial customers.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform system testing to ensure safety compliance.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver propane as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing safety and service information.
• Assist with appliance service and deliveries when needed based on customer demand.

• 3+ years of related service or technical experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• CDL Class B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (preferred)
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
