Job summary

Jiffy Lube in the United States is seeking a Service Technician to help customers feel confident about vehicle safety and to perform maintenance and customer service. The team is fully cross-trained to handle maintenance tasks and inspections while providing a high level of service.

No automotive experience is required, and training is provided. A driver’s license is strongly preferred but not required, and you must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide honest recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (oil changes, fluid refills, wipers, lights, brakes, tires).
• Complete multi-point inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Vacuum and sanitize interiors; clean windshields.
• Support additional automotive services as needed (engine, HVAC, electrical, transmission, suspension).
• Follow safety, OSHA, and Jiffy Lube standards.
• Participate in on-site and online training.
• Assist with marketing events, inventory, and facility upkeep.
• Build customer loyalty through clear communication and quality work.

Position: Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you help customers feel confident in the safety of their vehicles. Our team members are fully cross‑trained to perform maintenance, inspections, and customer service.

What You'll Do

• Provide honest recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines
• Perform oil changes, fluid refills, and basic maintenance (wipers, lights, brakes, tires)
• Complete multi‑point inspections and maintain accurate records

Preferred Qualifications

• Any level of automotive experience
• Valid Driver's License (strongly preferred)
• State Vehicle Inspector License (a plus)
• Customer service or sales experience
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask
