Rose Valley Management is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Middletown, CT. This role focuses on preventive and routine maintenance across both common areas and resident units, delivering hospitality-driven living experiences to our 336-unit garden-style community.

You will handle repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and appliances, while maintaining curb appeal and addressing safety concerns. On-call duties and ongoing training are required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall and painting.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Experience maintaining apartment communities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance across property grounds and resident units (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Ensure curb appeal through exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
• Respond to on-call emergencies on a rotating schedule.
• Assist with daily cleaning and special projects as needed.
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and workshops.

Rose Valley Management is looking to hire a Service Technician to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY:

A Rose Valley Management Service Technician is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units. In this role you’ll help deliver high-quality, hospitality-driven living experiences to our 336-unit Garden style community located in Middletown, CT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLES:

• Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances to our 336-unit property.
• Further oversight of the building’s curb appeal though building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is required.
• Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents.
• Responsible for daily cleaning
• Special projects as assigned
• Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Able to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as required.
• Will be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work orders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Able to stand and walk inside and outside in all weather
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing (ladders), kneeling, crawling and prolonged standing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
• Customer service first attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Experience working in maintenance in an apartment community
• On call REQUIRED
