Job summary

Rose Valley Management is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative and routine maintenance across the property grounds and in resident units in Annandale, VA, delivering hospitality‑driven living experiences through attentive service.

You will handle repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and painting; maintain curb appeal, support on-call emergencies, and participate in trainings. Benefits include commissions and solid PTO.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
• On-call availability is required.
• Experience in apartment community maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and resident units.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliances in common areas and apartments.
• Improve curb appeal through exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks.
• Participate in special projects and training sessions.
• Apply preventative measures to reduce future issues and fix potential safety hazards.
• Be available for on-call emergency work orders.

JOB SUMMARY

A Rose Valley Management Service Technician is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units. In this role you’ll help deliver high-quality, hospitality-driven living experiences to our community located in Annadale, VA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.
• Further oversight of the building’s curb appeal through building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is required.
• Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents.
• Responsible for daily cleaning
• Special projects as assigned
• Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Able to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as required.
• Will be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work orders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to stand and walk inside and outside in all weather
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing (ladders), kneeling, crawling and prolonged standing

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
• Customer service first attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Experience working in maintenance in an apartment community
• On call REQUIRED

Additionally, prior experience working in maintenance at an apartment community is a must and strong written, verbal and computer skills are preferred.

Salary Range: $25 - $27/hr plus monthly commission
