Job summary

Meritum Energy seeks an experienced Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain propane and oil generators, tanks, and related equipment. You will travel to customer sites, perform tests, and ensure service excellence with a strong customer focus.

The role requires handling equipment in varied environments, safety compliance, and effective communication. A CDL A/B and a clean driving record are highly preferred, with a valid license and regulatory knowledge essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL A or B required.
• Service Technician License, highly preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift 10–100 lbs.
• Ability to use GPS/navigation and map apps for travel planning.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes or places of business to install generators, tanks, and appliances.
• Repair equipment such as generators, LP furnaces, water heaters, and LP appliances.
• Conduct site surveys and recommend equipment placement.
• Troubleshoot problems with existing equipment and test installations.
• Provide clear operating instructions to customers and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain stock levels and clean up job sites after work.

The Service Technician will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, and maintenance of Propane and Oil generators, equipment and tanks.
