Position Summary

An Automotive Technician is largely responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle engine systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems. Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed. Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.

  • Understanding of automotive air‑conditioning systems
  • Ability to use the diagnostic equipment
  • Experience with heavy equipment and as a diesel mechanic, diesel engine knowledge, or prepared to do on‑the‑job training
  • Good hand‑eye coordination
