Job summary

Doral Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicle engine and electrical systems, replace transmissions and fuel components, and service cooling systems. The role requires experience or training in auto maintenance, a valid driver's license, and willingness to pursue ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Hold a valid driver license.
• Graduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
• Must read, interpret and transcribe data to maintain records.
• Experience as a lube technician or willingness to on-the-job train.
• Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
• Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
• Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experience.
• Test functionality of parts and systems.
• Perform oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
• Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
• Keep repair shop clean and organized.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
