Job summary

Vesta1 is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in Birmingham, AL. You will maintain and repair a variety of vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform engine/transmission work with a focus on quality and safety.

The role requires proficiency with diagnostic tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday. You will be paid hourly and provided on-the-job training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a service technician.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certified Automotive Technician: 2 years (Preferred).
• Automotive Repair: 1 year (Preferred).
• Mechanic: 2 years (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues; remove and replace engines and transmissions.
• Work on engine timing, A/C, and heater cores.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each service performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Having your own tools is a MUST.
• VALID Driver's License required.
• Our Service Tech's are paid Hourly vs Flat Rate.
• Strong willingness to learn, take direction to task, and grow.
• Maintain a positive dynamic attitude with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Full-time
• Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts
• No weekends.
