Job summary

Beard Equipment Company, a John Deere dealer, seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction, forestry, and industrial equipment in shop and field settings.

You will handle diesel, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, complete service documentation, and communicate findings to customers and managers while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience repairing heavy equipment or related machinery preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills are required.
• Basic computer and diagnostic software knowledge is expected.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in shop and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.

Position Summary

The Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains John Deere construction, forestry, and industrial equipment in both shop and field environments.
