Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing oil, propane, and natural gas heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Perform seasonal system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Conduct general repairs on steam and hot water heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair airflow and ducting issues.
• Install HVAC equipment as needed.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing honest, effective solutions.
• Complete job reports and service tickets promptly and accurately.
• Attend service meetings, training seminars, and company events.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and service vehicle.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work overtime as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing oil, propane, and natural gas heating systems, as well as ventilation and air conditioning systems. You should be capable of diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems efficiently and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices
• 2+ years of experience servicing and repairing Air Conditioning, oil, propane, and Natural gas
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and applicable trade certifications
• Ability to write routine service reports and correspondence
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with industry tools (electrical meter, efficiency tester, refrigeration gauges, recovery machine, manometer, etc.)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
