We are hiring a Service Technician to join our team in St. Rose, Louisiana. This role is designed for a technician who thrives working hands-on with industry-leading equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and building lasting customer relationships.

Essential Duties

• Diagnose and repair forklifts (electric, gas, diesel, and propane) and aerial lifts like boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers.
• Work with top brands, including Hyundai, Bobcat, Clark, Genie, JLG, and Skyjack, keeping every day exciting and challenging (subject to branch availability).
• Tackle mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Stay up to date with the latest OEM product updates, service bulletins, and upgrades.
• Recommend planned maintenance programs and safety inspections to customers to enhance uptime and safety.
• Mentor less experienced technicians while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Keep your tools, workspace, and service vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Load and unload equipment as needed, adding variety to your day.
• Prioritize safety by following company protocols, using PPE, and maintaining compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in diagnosing forklifts and aerial lift types, including electric, gas, diesel, and propane forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers.
• Skills using diagnostic tools, software, and essential repair equipment like multimeters and pressure gauges.
• The ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands and duration of exertion required for all job functions.
