Job Summary

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and ASE certification. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
2. Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services and provide estimates for repairs.
5. Execute repairs under warranty per manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

1. 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
4. Dexterity and steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
5. Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
6. Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
7. Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
8. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with teammates.
9. Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
10. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
