If you understand how mechanical equipment works, can identify and troubleshoot problems, and are comfortable taking equipment apart and putting it back together, RDC will provide the specialized training needed to work in the dock and door industry and learn the RDC Way.

  • Install new or refurbished equipment according to specifications, plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.

  • Identify the cause of equipment failures and determine the appropriate repair or replacement.

  • Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, jacks, measuring devices, and other equipment safely and effectively.

  • Conduct equipment testing and make adjustments to ensure proper performance.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.

  • Identify equipment that is unsafe or requires removal from service and properly red tag equipment when necessary.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and technical documentation.

  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment concerns, repairs, and service needs.

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional work environment.

  • Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
