Position Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for servicing previously installed windows and doors at customer’s homes based on established service ticket requests. This individual will provide outstanding customer service in the course of service repairs, inspections, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Visit customer homes to provide service to installed windows and doors.
2. Perform necessary services to gutter protection systems based on logged service ticket and onsite inspection.
3. Log services performed in service ticket system accurately and timely.
4. Proactively engage with customers to provide an outstanding customer service experience.
5. Follow established job site safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and company safety policies and procedures.
6. Must hold a valid driver's license.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

1. Experience in basic remodeling, construction, or other related field.
2. Reliable truck, van, or SUV that can carry ladders.
3. Functioning tools.
4. Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
8. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

Prior experience in windows and door installation, repair, or inspection is a plus.

Travel Requirements:

More than 50% domestic travel required.

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

May be requested to work overtime on evenings and weekends dependent on business need.

Physical Requirements:

Normal Office Environment and Field Office/Manufacturing/Construction Environment. Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment and outside work in varying temperatures and climates. Medium work. Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
