Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair motors vehicles, with emphasis on sustainable transportation and EV/HEV systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on automotive repair experience and strong customer communication skills.

Responsibilities include diagnosing high and low voltage systems, performing repairs, and documenting work using MS Office and a proprietary DMS.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician; including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems and EV powertrains.
• Customer facing experience with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
• EPA 609 Certification (or willing to obtain).
• Willingness to complete CPR training post hire.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year.

• Utilize MS Office and DMS software for service documentation and workflows.
• Keep up to date with high and low voltage safety practices.

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing motors vehicles. You will demonstrate your passion for sustainable transportation and creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including previous experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrains Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
• EPA 609 Certification (or willing to get)
• Willingness to complete provided CPR training post hire
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.

Pay: $33-$43 (depending on years of experience)
