Thalhimer Multifamily is seeking a Service Technician for Sundance Station in Richmond, VA. This full-time role involves maintaining apartment homes, handling work orders, and performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community.
• CFC and HVAC certifications required.
• Strong background in plumbing and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and hands-on approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment work orders and turnovers promptly.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Assist with upkeep of common areas, buildings, and pool areas.

As a Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our apartment homes, ensuring residents enjoy a well-maintained living environment. What You'll Do

As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our Sundance Station property. Your hands-on expertise will cover everything from completing apartment work orders and turnovers to performing repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances. You'll also be responsible for maintaining common areas, property buildings, and pool areas, contributing to the overall upkeep of the community.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Demonstrating exceptional customer service in all interactions with residents and staff

• Managing daily checklists, occasional tasks, and troubleshooting unexpected issues

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential community or similar field
• CFC and HVAC certifications are required
• Strong background in plumbing, electrical systems, and general apartment maintenance
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel between properties if needed
• Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hands‑on work
