Job summary

Day & Nite AmeriServe is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC, Refrigeration, and Cooking Equipment Technicians willing to relocate to Florida to join our expanding team. You will install, service, and repair complex HVAC/R systems across diverse commercial environments, reading schematics and BAS layouts to diagnose issues.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC/R systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC design, refrigeration cycles, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, BAS layouts, and technical manuals.
• Skilled in equipment troubleshooting, HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of EPA regulations related to refrigerants and environmental safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with experience as a van driver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and mechanical systems.
• Read schematics, electrical diagrams, and BAS layouts to diagnose issues.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure efficient operation and safety standards.
• Repair or replace compressors, fans, thermostats, wiring, and plumbing connections.
• Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service and document work.
