Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration and ware-washing equipment. You will diagnose issues, read schematics, and perform repairs onsite, while coordinating with manufacturers and our Technical Assistance Group for support.

The role offers on-the-job and formal training, a service vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits program including 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment including cooking, refrigeration and ware-washing.
• Read diagrams and schematics to guide repairs and identify parts.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification as needed.
• Consult with Technical Assistance Group for onsite technical support.
• Install all ordered parts in a timely, professional manner per policy.
• Promote and recommend other Smart Care services to customers.
• Produce accurate work orders, time reporting, receipts and truck stock inventory.
• Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.
• Maintain a neat, organized service vehicle and inventory.
• Maintain productivity levels per company standards.
