Job summary

Coulter Cadillac, Buick and GMC Phoenix is seeking a qualified automotive technician to join our service team in Phoenix. You will perform repairs and diagnostics across engine, drivetrain, electronics, and comfort systems, while adhering to dealership standards and warranty guidelines.

We value efficiency, teamwork, and clear communication with Service Advisors to estimate repair times and inform customers of needed services.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years dealership experience (General Motors preferred)
• ASE certifications are required
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean driving record & valid driver's license
