Rochester Chevrolet Cadillac is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and climate control in a busy Rochester service shop. You will work with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and timelines for customers.

Qualifikationen

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background is required.
• Strong teamwork skills are beneficial.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
