Job summary

Central City Toyota is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team in Philadelphia. We welcome experienced technicians as well as apprentices and entry-level candidates who want to learn the trade and build a long-term career.

We offer on-the-job training, apprenticeship opportunities, and a pathway to learn advanced diagnostics and repairs while earning $18.00–$30.00 per hour. Full-time position with a supportive work environment and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive repair experience preferred.
• Apprentices and entry-level technicians encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems is a plus.
• ASE certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle problems.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust repairs.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs.
• Use automotive diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
• Follow proper repair procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete quality repairs in a timely manner.

Automotive Technician

Pay: $18.00–$30.00 per hour
Full-Time | Apprentices Welcome

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team at Central City Toyota. We are open to experienced technicians as well asapprentices and entry-level candidates who are interested in learning the automotive trade and building a long-term career.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle problems

• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust repairs

• Perform oil changes, tire services, and preventative maintenance

• Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs

• Use automotive diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
