Central City Toyota in Philadelphia is seeking an Automotive Technician to join the team. We welcome experienced technicians as well as apprentices and entry-level candidates who are eager to learn the trade and build a long-term career.

The role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and working with diagnostic equipment. A dependable attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive repair experience preferred.
• Apprentices and entry-level technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle problems
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust repairs
• Perform oil changes, tire services, and preventative maintenance
• Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs
• Use automotive diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
• Follow proper repair procedures and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete quality repairs in a timely manner
