Job summary

Rusnak/Pasadena Audi is seeking a Service Technician to join our Pasadena dealership. You will repair vehicles efficiently and safely, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while meeting franchise goals.

Compensation starts at $37.14 per hour plus a flag rate, with pay based on experience and skill level. A California driver license and ASE certification are preferred qualifications for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Technical School Diploma and ASE certification are preferred credentials.
• A valid California driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses manufacturer-recommended diagnosis and repair processes.
• Communicates clearly with clients and management if a concern or action is unclear.
• Verifies resolution of repairs and documents corrective steps taken.
• Maintains knowledge of company, manufacturer, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Reads and interprets complex technical documents to perform work accurately.

Compensation: $37.14/hr + Flag Rate

Responsibilities

• Effectively utilizes manufacturer recommended diagnosis and repair processes.
• Promptly seeks clarification and/or management input, if Client concern, objective, or correct course of action is unclear.
• Upon completion of repair, verifies that the concern has been resolved; communicates clearly the cause and all steps taken to correct the concern.
• Consistently and actively maintains solid working knowledge of, and ensures documentation and procedures comply with, Company, Manufacturer, local, state, and federal policies, procedures and regulations, which pertain to the sale and service of new and pre-owned vehicles; consistently demonstrates passion for continued learning regarding brand-specific knowledge.
• Consistently, effectively, and efficiently locates, reads, analyzes, interprets, understands, and successfully performs work based upon complex technical documents.

Effectively and Efficiently Achieves Proficiency Rate

• Consistently participates in determination of personal performance targets; sets challenging goals.
• Organizes work and work tools to minimize damage and/or loss.
• Required to successfully pass and remain current on all certification testing.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; two (2) years’ related and progressively responsible automotive retailer, brand-specific service technician experience preferred; Technical School Diploma and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred.
• Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record
