Job summary

Palmer Johnson in Olathe is seeking an experienced Service Technician to work at our Olathe Service Center.

You will diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and rebuild heavy-duty components such as transmissions, axles, and driveline while documenting findings and working with teammates and manufacturers.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $1,500 and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel, heavy equipment, or drivetrain repair experience.
• Technical training in diesel or automotive is a plus, but not required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

Palmer Johnson is hiring an experienced Service Technician for our Olathe Service Center. In this role, you’ll work on heavy-duty transmissions, axles, differentials, torque converters, and other drivetrain components used in construction, material handling, agriculture, and industrial equipment. You will also receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus!
