Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to install and service our bulk cooking oil management solutions across customer sites. You will train customers, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a DOT-regulated vehicle background, and a strong customer focus with hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude. Shift typically includes four 10-hour days with pay bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• DOT-regulated vehicle operation; pre-employment drug test; positive results disqualify.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Problem solving for installation and service.
• Basic mechanical and electrical duties.
• Strong customer focus and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Fleet Safety requirements and clean driving record.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds and climb ladders up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Install and service our products at customer locations.
• Meet and manage service labor per hour and timelines.
• Follow 5S, safety, and regulatory requirements including DOT/OSHA/HACCP.
• Maintain parts and paperwork in service vehicles.
• Communicate with customers to ensure performance expectations.
• Train and coach customers on the system as needed.
• Use iPhone apps for parts notes and clocking in/out.
• Night installation work may be required; schedule varies by demand.

Job description

The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our Service Technicians are responsible for the installation and servicing of our advanced equipment in locations throughout the food service industry. As a Service Technician with Restaurant Technologies, you’ll install our core products for new customers and assist with customer training through troubleshooting and servicing. For existing customers, you will be responsible for service, repair, and routine maintenance.

Compensation: The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour. Shift differential and overtime pay may also apply, and the position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to $5,200 per year. Opportunities to increase base pay with weekend shifts, tenure and level-up development programs

Available Shift(s): The schedule for this position is Wednesday through Saturday. You will work four 10-hour shifts each week, starting at 6:00 A.M.

Primary Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for installing and maintaining our products in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Meet and control operational goals and timelines- service labor per hour, first time right, 5S standards, etc.
• Comply with internal processes and procedures and all local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
• Maintain proper parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and proper paperwork standards.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets customers’ expectations.
• Efficiently and professionally service customers’ needs, training and coaching them on the system as needed.
• Utilize iPhone apps to perform multiple functions in role (parts, customer notes, clocking in/out)
• The position may include night installation work; the schedule will vary based on customer demand & install schedule.

Education, Requirements & Competencies

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• This position requires the operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle, and candidates will be subject to passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test. Please be advised, a positive result for any controlled substance will disqualify applicants; including marijuana (THC), even if it is legal under state or local law.

• Ability to climb up and down a ladder as high as 20 feet in the air
