Job summary

Comp-Air Ohio is a well established Gardner Denver air compressor distributor servicing Northern Ohio. We are seeking a Service Technician for on-site maintenance and repair of all brands of compressors and related equipment.

You will install new equipment and plant air piping, service HVAC/R components, and develop preventive maintenance plans while traveling as needed. A refrigeration recovery certificate and strong electrical troubleshooting skills are required; a clean driving record is

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience with industrial compressors or related equipment.
• Strong electrical control troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Refrigeration recovery certificate.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel and work evenings/weekends.
• Proficient in creating preventive maintenance plans.
• Familiar with VFDs, PLCs, and electrical installation/repair.

Responsibilities

• On-site maintenance and repairs of all brands of compressors.
• Refrigerated and desiccant dryer repair and maintenance.
• Installation of new equipment and plant air piping.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance plans.
• Rigging and load handling as required.
