Job summary

Industrial Air Centers, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service industrial air compressors and related equipment in the Cincinnati area. The role requires travel to customer sites to perform startup, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and advise customers on equipment needs and improvements, while ensuring safety and proper documentation of each job.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with compressed air equipment.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• DOT certification or able to pass screening.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use multimeter and hand/power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and dryers.
• Perform diagnostics to identify causes of failures on compressor systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance such as oil changes and setting of controls; recommend improvements.
• Consult with customers on equipment needs, maintenance and repairs.
• Provide technical assistance on start-ups and complete project paperwork.

Job description

Description

The Field Service Technician will be primarily responsible for start-up, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of industrial air compressors and compressed air equipment. The technician will travel to customer sites within the Cincinnati and surrounding areas to perform assigned duties.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain rotary screw/ reciprocating air compressors and various types of air dryers
• Perform diagnostics and determine causes for failures on air compressor systems equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, cleaning and setting of factory standard controls. Provide equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance
• Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs
• Technical assistance on equipment start-ups of equipment
• Complete appropriate paperwork for each job

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with compressed air equipment strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing
• Must be DOT certified or be able to pass a DOT screening
• Ability to read parts and service manuals, blueprints, schematics, etc.
• Ability to use multimeter, hand and power tools while following safety guidelines
• Ability to regularly stand, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs
