OWL Services in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair petroleum equipment and related systems. The role requires reliability, autonomy, and a mix of mechanical and technical skills, with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years petroleum service experience.
• Experience with electrical controls and wiring.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Available for on-call rotation.
• Experience with computer tasks such as software installation and installing hard drives, networks, routers, printers and other components.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Team oriented with ability to build consensus and relationships.
• Passion for customer service excellence.
• Prompt response to service calls or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment and related devices.
• Handle mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Complete service requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure safety practices per federal, state, and local codes.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Use testing devices and hand/power tools; maintain tools in safe order.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, or arranging for repairs of equipment and all operating systems.The ideal candidate would be a reliable self-starter who is able to work autonomously, has a mix of mechanical and technical skills and takes initiative and has pride in their work. Must have excellent attention to detail and strong customer service.This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment other related devices
• Execute mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner
• Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements
• Troubleshoot various types of equipment, able to make repairs as needed
• Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand, and power tools related to the job
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order
• Any other duties or responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements and Skills

• 3+ years petroleum service experience
