Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Service Technician in Indianapolis, IN to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and PM services on petroleum equipment and related systems. The role requires self-motivation, strong mechanical/technical skills, and excellent customer service with on-call availability.

Responsibilities include executing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• On-call rotation availability.
• Experience with electrical controls and electronic wiring.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment and related devices.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Process service requests and repairs promptly and professionally.
• Ensure safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Use testing devices and tools to diagnose and repair issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, or arranging for repairs of equipment and all operating systems.The ideal candidate would be a reliable self-starter who is able to work autonomously, has a mix of mechanical and technical skills and takes initiative and has pride in their work. Must have excellent attention to detail and strong customer service.This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to repair, install, and maintain petroleum equipment other related devices
• Execute mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner
• Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements
• Troubleshoot various types of equipment, able to make repairs as needed
• Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand, and power tools related to the job
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order
• Any other duties or responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements and Skills

• Experience with electrical controls and electronic wiring
• Will maintain a valid driver’s License as well as a clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be available for on-call rotation
• Experience with computer tasks such as software installation, installing
• hard drives, networks, routers, printers and other components
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrates organization skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
