Job summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Ourisman Mitsubishi of Laurel. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles to ensure safe and reliable service for our customers.

Responsibilities include performing accurate diagnostics, routine maintenance, test drives, and maintaining detailed service records. You will work with Service Advisors and other technicians to deliver high-quality results and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Applicable certifications and technical trainings.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.

Role Summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive safe and reliable service.

• Perform accurate diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs.


• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.


• Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools to ensure repairs are completed successfully and to manufacturer standards.


• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and services recommended.


• Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.


• Occasionally communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs.
