Hennig, Inc. in Illinois seeks a refurbishing and repair technician to perform work at customer sites or in-house, handling basic measurements and repairs.
The role supports customers with technical issues, processes quotes and repair/service orders, and assists the Repair and Service Manager and Administration.
Candidates should have primary education or GED, on‑the‑job training, and 1–3 years in manufacturing; must handle lifting up to 30 lbs and work in a high-noise environment.

Education: Primary education or GED
Training: On the job training as specified on training records. M2M training may be provided.
Skills: Demonstrate basic measuring and mathematical skills. High levels of organizational skills needed.
Experience: Sheet metal capabilities are helpful. 1-3 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
Visual Acuity: Accommodation as required for reading measuring instruments.
Hearing Ability: Able to monitor sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action in a safe manner Working Conditions: Possible hazards from moving parts, equipment, high noise levels, and skin exposure to oils and cutting fluids. May breathe fumes, dust, and mist. Ability to lift up to 30lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, push, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
